Human NKG2D ligand 2 (ULBP2) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human NKG2D ligand 2 (ULBP2), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for research use only and is suited to studies in immunology, immune regulation, cancer biology, and therapeutic development. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method, is reactive with human samples, and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 34 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.4% and inter-assay CV is 8.9%. Dilutional linearity in serum (N=5) ranges from 101% to 126%, in EDTA plasma (N=5) from 102% to 120%, and in heparin plasma (N=5) from 88% to 116% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Recovery is 95% (range 89-101%) for serum and 97% (range 91-103%) for plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human UL16-binding protein 2, and ULBP2 binds and activates the KLRK1/NKG2D receptor, mediating natural killer cell cytotoxicity.
