Human NF-kappa-B essential modulator (IKBKG) ELISA Kit

IKBKG is the regulatory subunit of the IKK core complex, which phosphorylates inhibitors of NF-kappa-B, leading to dissociation of the inhibitor/NF-kappa-B complex and ultimately degradation of the inhibitor. It plays a key role in inflammation, immune response, and cell survival, with dysregulation implicated in cancer, inflammatory disorders, and autoimmune conditions.

The assay is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It detects natural and recombinant human NF-kappa-B essential modulator with a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.34ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.8% and inter-assay CV is 8.6%. Linearity in serum spans 89-114%, in EDTA plasma 84-114%, and in heparin plasma 89-124% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. Average recovery is 103% (97-109%) in serum and 105% (99-111%) in plasma.

The target protein is a disulfide-linked homodimer and a component of the I-kappa-B-kinase (IKK) core complex.
