Human Neutrophil elastase (ELANE) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA for the quantitative measurement of human Neutrophil elastase (ELANE). The colorimetric assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant human Neutrophil elastase.

Manufacturer performance figures include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 31pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.7% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Linearity was demonstrated in serum (87-99% at 1:2 through 81-94% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (90-103% to 98-107%) and heparin plasma (94-104% to 91-103%) across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5). Spike-and-recovery testing returned an average of 88% (range 82-94%) for serum and 90% (range 84-96%) for plasma.
