Human Neutrophil Alkaline Phosphatase/NAP ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Neutrophil Alkaline Phosphatase (NAP) in human samples. NAP is an enzyme found in neutrophils, a type of white blood cell involved in the body's immune response, and changes in its levels have been linked to infections, inflammatory disorders, and leukemia, making it an important biomarker for studying these conditions and potential treatment options.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody format, offering a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a measuring range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. Linearity data (n=5) showed the following ranges: serum at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions of 86–104%, 88–101% and 82–95%; EDTA plasma of 91–103%, 83–98% and 83–97%; and heparin plasma of 86–101%, 82–94% and 84–95%. Spike-recovery averaged 96% in serum (range 86–105%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 90–103%) and 96% in heparin plasma (range 90–102%).
