Human Neurotrophin-3 ELISA Kit

The assay delivers a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL across a working range of 7.813–500 pg/mL (1 ng = 2100 mIU). Unopened reagents are stored at 2–8 °C, where they remain stable for up to 12 months. Reported linearity spans 85–105% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, while recovery falls within 85–103% with averages of 93% (serum), 95% (EDTA plasma) and 97% (heparin plasma).

The workflow begins with equilibrating reagents to room temperature and loading standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate, followed by a 37 °C incubation. After binding of the biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate is added and developed in the dark for 10–20 minutes. The reaction is then stopped and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Because neurotrophin-3 supports the growth, survival and function of neurons and its dysregulation has been associated with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and spinal cord injuries, this kit provides a reliable tool for neuroscience research and the development of potential therapeutics.
