Assay Genie's competitive immunoassay quantifies mature neurotensin (NT, pGlu-Leu-Tyr-Glu-Asn-Lys-Pro-Arg-Arg-Pro-Tyr-Ile-Leu), a 13-residue gut-brain peptide implicated in dopaminergic signaling, central satiety regulation, and gastrointestinal motility. The pack contains a pre-coated microplate strip frame, lyophilized NT calibrator, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash concentrate, chromogenic TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers. The standard curve covers 12.5 to 800 pg/mL with an analytical sensitivity near 4.8 pg/mL; 50 uL of prepared human specimen is dispensed per well, typically in duplicate. Unopened vials remain stable under refrigerated conditions; reconstituted calibrator and detection reagent vials should be aliquoted and held at -20 degrees C for long-term storage, with limited freeze-thaw tolerance.
