Human Neuropilin 1 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of neuropilin-1 levels in human samples. The assay uses a double antibody format with colorimetric detection, delivering a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is intended for cardiovascular research and targets the neuropilin-1 protein (Uniprot O14786).

Validated performance: linearity in serum (n = 5) ranges 82-101% at 1:2, 85-99% at 1:4, and 80-97% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n = 5) 88-98%, 88-97%, 86-100%; heparin plasma (n = 5) 85-102%, 94-101%, 82-99%. Recovery is 89-102% (average 92%) for serum, 87-105% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 88-104% (average 94%) for heparin plasma. Kit reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate, incubating standards and samples on the pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody with a 60-minute incubation, binding HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes, developing colour with TMB substrate in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after stop solution is added.
