Human Neuropeptide Y Receptor Y1 (NPY1R) ELISA Kit

This sandwich immunoassay from Assay Genie is built around a pre-coated 96-well microplate for quantitative measurement of human Neuropeptide Y Receptor Y1 (NPY1R), a G-protein coupled receptor implicated in appetite regulation, anxiety pathways, and cardiovascular signaling. The kit targets the UniProt P25929 protein and detects both NPYR and NPYY1 isoforms in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, with an assay time of roughly 3.5 hours and a recommended sample volume of 100 uL per well.

Intra-assay precision is reported at CV less than 10% and inter-assay precision at CV less than 12%, with spike-and-recovery values of 83-100% in serum, 90-103% in EDTA plasma, and 89-102% in heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions remains within 79-105% across the same matrices.

No significant cross-reactivity or interference has been observed between NPY1R and structurally related analogues, supporting its use for receptor expression studies in obesity, neuropeptide signaling, and GPCR pharmacology workflows.
