Human Neuromedin-U (NMU) ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie kit quantitatively measures endogenous Neuromedin-U (NMU), a neuropeptide implicated in appetite regulation, metabolic disease, inflammatory signaling, and cancer biology research. NMU mediates smooth-muscle contraction, pain perception, and energy homeostasis through G-protein-coupled receptors NMUR1 and NMUR2. Each microplate arrives pre-coated with capture antibody, and the protocol calls for a 100 µL sample volume per well. Validated for serum and plasma matrices alongside cell-culture supernatant samples, the kit supports studies of NMU biology across in vitro and in vivo contexts. Reagents include a calibrated standard curve, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and substrate solution, sufficient for 96 determinations. The colorimetric endpoint is captured on a standard plate reader after substrate addition.
