Human Neuromedin U (NMU) ELISA Kit

Neuromedin U (NMU) is a regulatory neuropeptide implicated in smooth muscle contraction, appetite control, and inflammatory signaling, acting through the G-protein-coupled receptors NMUR1 and NMUR2. The Assay Genie human NMU immunoassay kit enables researchers to quantify endogenous NMU levels in human serum samples, plasma specimens, and cell culture supernatant for studies of gut-brain axis signaling, obesity, and metabolic disorders.

Configured for human reactivity in a 96-assay format, the kit provides pre-coated microplate wells, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and a calibrated standard set for generating an eight-point curve. Standards and samples are loaded in duplicate, and absorbance is recorded with a standard plate reader after substrate addition.

Reagents are supplied in sealed vials and should be stored refrigerated for daily use or frozen at -20°C for extended shelf life. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the antibody and conjugate components are not recommended, and aliquoting the conjugate upon first thaw is advised for labs running partial plates. The kit is intended for research use only and is not cleared for clinical diagnostic applications.
