Recovery averages are 91% for serum (range 86-100%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 85-99%), and 98% for heparin plasma (range 91-105%). The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
