Human Neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 1 (NOTCH1) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich-format immunoassay is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 1 (NOTCH1). It is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant human NOTCH1 (UniProt P46531).

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 49 pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and an inter-assay CV of 10.2%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with average recovery of 102% (range 96–108%) in serum and 104% (range 98–110%) in plasma.

NOTCH1 functions as a receptor for the membrane-bound ligands Jagged1, Jagged2 and Delta1, regulating cell-fate determination, differentiation, proliferation and apoptotic programmes.
