This Assay Genie kit enables quantitative measurement of Neurogenin-1 protein from human-derived specimens (serum or plasma), supporting research in neuroscience, developmental biology, and auditory neuroscience.

Dysregulation of NEUROG1 has been linked to autosomal dominant sensorineural hearing loss, making it a target of interest for studies of cochlear hair cell differentiation and cranial sensory ganglion formation.
