Human Nestin (NES) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human nestin (NES) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only and supports studies in neuroscience, regenerative medicine and oncology, where nestin serves as a marker for stem cells and neural progenitor cells.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with recovery averaging 101% in serum and 103% in plasma.

The assay recognises natural and recombinant human nestin, with absorbance read at 450 nm using a standard microplate reader.
