Human Nesprin 1 (Nesp1) ELISA Kit

Nesprin-1 (encoded by SYNE1, also called CPG2 or Myne-1) is a giant ~1000 kDa outer nuclear membrane protein that tethers the nuclear envelope to the cytoplasmic actin and microtubule networks through its C-terminal KASH domain, supporting nuclear positioning, mechanotransduction, and centrosome attachment. Loss-of-function variants in SYNE1 are linked to Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy, arthrogryposis, and autosomal recessive cerebellar ataxia type 1, making quantitative measurement of Nesprin-1 useful in neuromuscular and neurodegenerative disease research.
