Human Nesfatin-1/Nucleobindin-2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of Nesfatin-1/Nucleobindin-2 (also referred to as NEFA) in human samples, this competitive ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for research use only. The microplate is pre-coated with antigen and the assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with reported ranges of 88–103% / 85–97% / 81–96% for serum, 87–105% / 89–99% / 80–96% for EDTA plasma, and 85–104% / 83–99% / 80–95% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 88–100% in serum (average 93%), 90–101% in EDTA plasma (average 96%) and 85–103% in heparin plasma (average 92%).

The workflow uses a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm; signal intensity is inversely proportional to analyte concentration. The kit includes a Bradford Reagent for total protein quantification to support sample normalisation. Reagent components are stored at 2–8 °C and the product is shipped on ice packs.
