Human Nephronectin (NPNT) ELISA Kit

An in vitro quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie for measuring human Nephronectin (NPNT) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatant. NPNT is a secreted extracellular matrix protein containing five EGF-like repeats and an RGD integrin-binding motif; it engages integrin alpha-8/beta-1 on mesenchymal cells to drive ureteric bud branching during renal organogenesis and has been linked to melanoma adhesion and gastric cancer cell behavior. Working with a pre-coated microplate, the workflow pairs a biotinylated detection antibody with streptavidin-HRP, and the resulting color is read as absorbance on a standard plate reader. Reconstituted standards are added down the plate to build a standard curve, then undiluted or diluted samples are pipetted into individual wells; reagents provided include concentrated wash buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and a plate sealer. Store kit components refrigerated between runs and keep reconstituted standards frozen as single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Bring all reagents to room temperature before running the assay.
