Human Nephrin (NPHN) ELISA Kit

Nephrin is a transmembrane scaffolding protein located in the slit diaphragm between glomerular podocyte foot processes, where it maintains the integrity of the kidney filtration barrier. The Assay Genie kit quantifies this podocyte marker in human samples, supporting research into congenital nephrotic syndrome of the Finnish type, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, diabetic kidney damage, and podocyte injury responses.
