Human Nephrin ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of nephrin in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie combines a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, and is intended for research applications in cell biology. It supports studies of the kidney glomerular filtration barrier, where dysregulation of nephrin has been associated with conditions such as diabetic nephropathy and glomerulonephritis.

Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 90-103%, 94-98% and 96-100% for serum, 83-100%, 83-100% and 83-97% for EDTA plasma, and 83-90%, 87-98% and 85-96% for heparin plasma. Recovery testing returned average values of 90% for serum (range 86-96%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 85-101%), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 85-104%). Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
