Human NELF ELISA Kit (HUFI07518)

This Assay Genie ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of Nasal Embryonic Luteinizing Hormone-Releasing Factor (NELF), a secreted glycoprotein that guides the embryonic migration of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons from the olfactory placode toward the hypothalamus. The NELF protein is encoded within the GNRH1 locus and has been implicated in disorders of GnRH neuron migration, including normosmic idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and certain presentations of Kallmann syndrome. Researchers in reproductive neuroendocrinology, hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis regulation, and puberty-onset biology use NELF as a biomarker for hormone-driven developmental processes. The microplate-based immunoassay supports in vitro investigation of circulating NELF in translational study cohorts, with reagents supplied in vials for research use only.
