Nectin-1 (PVRL1/CD111) is a calcium-independent immunoglobulin-like cell adhesion molecule of the nectin family, widely expressed at epithelial and neuronal adherens junctions where it mediates homophilic and heterophilic trans-interactions with other nectins and nectin-like molecules.
