Human Nebulette (NEBL) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise measurement of human Nebulette (NEBL) levels in research samples. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human Nebulette, with reactivity limited to human samples. It accepts a broad range of sample types, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method read at 450 nm.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.16ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 3.2% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%. Linearity has been verified across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16) in serum (98-107%, 101-111%, 82-95%, 90-99%), EDTA plasma (102-114%, 101-110%, 85-97%, 99-109%) and heparin plasma (94-103%, 111-120%, 89-99%, 103-113%) using N=5 samples. Recovery averages 95% (range 89-101%) for serum and 97% (range 91-103%) for plasma.

Nebulette is an actin-binding Z-disk protein that contributes to the assembly of the Z-disk in cardiac muscle sarcomeres, with isoform 2 implicated in focal adhesion assembly. Dysregulation of nebulette expression has been linked to various cardiovascular diseases, making it a useful biomarker for cardiovascular research. The kit is for research use only.
