The NDUFB9 protein, also referred to as B22 or LYRM3, is a ~22 kDa accessory subunit of mitochondrial respiratory Complex I (NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase). It belongs to the LYR motif protein family and contributes to complex I assembly and stability, with variants linked to mitochondrial complex I deficiency disorders.
