Human NDNF/Neuron-derived neurotrophic factor ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise and accurate detection of NDNF (Neuron-Derived Neurotrophic Factor) levels in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781-50 ng/mL, supporting research into neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, where dysregulation of NDNF has been linked, and providing high sensitivity and specificity for reliable and reproducible results.

Colorimetric detection relies on a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding, with TMB substrate development and absorbance read at 450 nm. The protocol includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, and HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, followed by 10–20 minutes of colour development in the dark. Kit reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 80-101%. Average recovery is 95% for serum (range 91-100%), 99% for EDTA plasma (range 91-105%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 88-97%).
