Human NCAN (Neurocan core protein) ELISA KIT (HUFI08114)

Assay Genie's Human NCAN ELISA Kit supports quantitative measurement of Neurocan core protein for research use only. Neurocan is a large, brain-enriched chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan belonging to the lectican family; it organizes the perineuronal net, regulates neuronal migration, and modulates axon guidance during central nervous system maturation. Dysregulation of NCAN expression has been linked to bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and certain gliomas, positioning the protein as a candidate biomarker for translational neuroscience workflows.

The kit is supplied as a complete microplate-based format with all buffers, standards, and detection reagents needed to run the workflow. Unopened components should be refrigerated and protected from light; reconstituted reagents should be aliquoted and frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
