The Assay Genie Human NBEA ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Neurobeachin protein levels in human samples for neuroscience and biomarker discovery research.

Neurobeachin is a large BEACH-domain scaffolding protein highly expressed in neurons, where it regulates membrane trafficking between the trans-Golgi network and endosomes. The protein supports synaptic vesicle dynamics, dendritic spine formation, and long-term memory consolidation. Mutations and copy-number variants in the NBEA gene have been linked to neurodevelopmental conditions including autism spectrum disorder, idiopathic epilepsy, and learning disabilities, making accurate quantification of the protein valuable for both basic neuroscience and translational studies.

Provided in a 96 Assays format, the kit includes a pre-coated microplate, detection reagents, standards, and diluents sufficient for the full plate run. Store kit components refrigerated at 4°C until first use to preserve reagent activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Each kit ships in a sealed box with individually packed vials to maintain stability.

Laboratory applications include ELISA-based quantification of NBEA in cell culture lysates, correlation with immunohistochemistry results, and biomarker screening in neurological research. The microplate format allows parallel processing of standards and unknowns in each run. Intended for research use only in laboratory investigation of NBEA protein dynamics across neurological, neurodevelopmental, and synaptic biology studies.
