Human NAGase/N-Acetyl Beta-D-Glucosaminidase ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA (double antibody) format kit for the quantitative detection of N-Acetyl-Beta-D-Glucosaminidase (NAG) in human samples. NAG is an enzyme involved in the breakdown of complex carbohydrates, and the colorimetric assay is intended for research into conditions such as kidney disease, liver disease, and metabolic disorders, where abnormal NAG levels have been reported.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563-100 ng/mL, with components stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Spike-and-recovery studies in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each) showed recovery averages of 95%, 97% and 96% respectively, with linear dilution behaviour (1:2 to 1:8) demonstrated across the same matrices.
