Human NADPH oxidase 5 ELISA Kit (HUFI08040)

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human NADPH oxidase 5 (NOX5) concentrations in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a double antibody sandwich format and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of < 15pg/ml and an assay range of 25-1600pg/ml. Recovery was assessed by spiking matrices with NADPH oxidase 5: serum (n=5) yielded a recovery range of 92-105% with an average of 98%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 88-104% averaging 96%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 86-105% averaging 96%. Linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and UFH plasma, with reported values ranging between 81% and 105%. Intra-assay precision is reported as CV <8% and inter-assay precision as CV <10%. Reagents are stored at 4°C for 6 months.

NADPH oxidase 5 is a calcium-dependent enzyme that generates superoxide and acts as a calcium-dependent proton channel, contributing to immune responses, cell signaling, and oxidative stress.
