Human NADH Dehydrogenase 1 (ND1) ELISA Kit

ND1 is one of seven mitochondrial-encoded subunits of NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), the largest enzyme complex of the inner mitochondrial membrane electron transport chain. The MT-ND1 gene product contributes to the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone during oxidative phosphorylation, and changes in its abundance are investigated in studies of mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, and inherited metabolic disorders including Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy and MELAS syndrome.
