Human NADH-cytochrome b5 reductase 2 (CYB5R2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of human NADH-cytochrome b5 reductase 2 (CYB5R2), an oxidoreductase implicated in fatty acid desaturation and elongation, cholesterol biosynthesis, drug metabolism, and erythrocyte methemoglobin reduction. The assay detects natural and recombinant human CYB5R2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 29pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.3%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Linearity was validated in serum (99-110%, 95-106%, 101-113%, and 110-120% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions, N=5), EDTA plasma (85-97%, 110-120%, 102-112%, and 105-117%), and heparin plasma (107-117%, 96-108%, 106-116%, and 110-120%). Average recovery is 96% (range 90-102%) in serum and 98% (range 92-104%) in plasma.
