Human NAD-dependent deacetylase sirtuin-1 (SIRT1O) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for quantifying NAD-dependent deacetylase sirtuin-1 (SIRT1) in human samples. The assay detects natural and recombinant human SIRT1 and is reactive with human specimens, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 32pg/mL, together with an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.2%. Linearity in serum (N=5) spans 90-100% at a 1:2 dilution up to 110-120% at 1:16, with EDTA and heparin plasma matrices also evaluated. Average recovery is 84% (range 80-90%) in serum and 86% (range 80-92%) in plasma. SIRT1 is an NAD-dependent protein deacetylase linked to regulation of cellular energy metabolism, DNA repair and inflammation, and the kit supports research into the role of SIRT1 in age-related disease and the broader field of epigenetics.
