Human NAD-dependent ADP-ribosyltransferase sirtuin-4 (SIRT4) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise measurement of NAD-dependent ADP-ribosyltransferase sirtuin-4 (SIRT4) in human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human SIRT4 and is specific for the natural and recombinant forms of the target, also known by the synonyms SIR2-like protein 4 and SIR2L4. The detection method is colorimetric.

The assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.067 ng/mL. SIRT4 is a mitochondrial matrix protein that functions as an NAD-dependent protein ADP-ribosyltransferase, catalysing the transfer of ADP-ribosyl groups onto target proteins including mitochondrial GLUD1; the protein has no detectable protein deacetylase activity. The kit is intended for research use only, supporting work in the Epigenetics research area and investigations into cellular processes such as metabolism, DNA repair and mitochondrial function, as well as conditions linked to SIRT4 dysregulation, including metabolic disorders, cancer and neurodegenerative disease.
