Human N-terminal propeptide of Collagen alpha-1 (II)chain/PIINP ELISA Kit

A sandwich (double-antibody) ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human N-terminal propeptide of Collagen alpha-1 (II) chain (PIINP) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a working range of 93.75–6000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 56.25 pg/mL, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader. According to the manufacturer, PIINP is described as a marker of type II collagen synthesis, relevant to research on cartilage, bone, and connective tissue biology.
