Human N-Terminal Pro Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (NT-ProANP) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie NT-ProANP ELISA Kit supports quantitative measurement of N-terminal pro-atrial natriuretic peptide in human serum, plasma, and related biological fluids. NT-ProANP is a stable cleavage fragment of proANP secreted by atrial cardiomyocytes under volume and pressure stress, and circulating concentrations rise in congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, hypertensive cardiomyopathy, and chronic kidney disease, making this biomarker a useful adjunct to NT-proBNP in cardiovascular research studies.

Each microplate provides 96 wells pre-coated with anti-NT-ProANP capture antibody, paired with biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate for colorimetric readout. The assay shows no significant cross-reactivity with human NT-proBNP, BNP, or CNP, supporting human-specific measurement. Reconstituted standards should be frozen at -20 degrees C for longer-term storage, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the standard curve should be avoided to preserve binding performance.
