N-terminal pro ANP is a key biomarker for cardiovascular diseases, particularly heart failure, and plays a crucial role in regulating blood pressure and fluid balance, supporting cardiovascular research and diagnostic applications.

The assay accepts human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric readout with TMB substrate measured at 450 nm. It reports a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL, with reagents stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validated performance includes linearity of 83-101% for serum, 82-100% for EDTA plasma, and 82-101% for heparin plasma across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions. Recovery was 86-104% (average 99%) in serum, 95-104% (average 95%) in EDTA plasma, and 89-100% (average 97%) in heparin plasma.
