Human N-glycosylase/DNA lyase (OGG1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of human N-glycosylase/DNA lyase (OGG1), a DNA repair enzyme that incises DNA at 8-oxoG residues, excises 7,8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine and 2,6-diamino-4-hydroxy-5-N-methylformamidopyrimidine (FAPY) from damaged DNA, and has a beta-lyase activity that nicks DNA 3' to the lesion. The kit is reactive with human samples and validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, recognising both natural and recombinant human N-glycosylase/DNA lyase.

Colorimetric detection is performed over a range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.082ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.5% and an inter-assay CV of 9.7%. Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma is provided across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with recovery averaging 103% (range 97-109%) in serum and 105% (range 99-111%) in plasma.
