Human N (G),N (G)-dimethylarginine dimethylaminohydrolase 1 (DDAH1) ELISA Kit

DDAH1 hydrolyses N(G),N(G)-dimethyl-L-arginine (ADMA) and N(G)-monomethyl-L-arginine (MMA), which act as inhibitors of NOS, and therefore plays a role in regulating nitric oxide generation. Nitric oxide is involved in physiological processes including vascular tone and immune response, and dysregulation of DDAH1 has been implicated in hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and kidney disorders. The detection range is 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.045 ng/mL; the intra-assay CV is 4.2% and the inter-assay CV is 9.3%.
