Human N-CAM1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0911)

Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule 1 (NCAM1, also known as CD56) is a transmembrane glycoprotein best characterized as a natural killer cell surface marker and a mediator of neuronal adhesion, axon guidance, and synaptic plasticity. The Assay Genie Human N-CAM1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit provides a quantitative immunoassay for measuring NCAM1 levels in human cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum samples.

This absorbance-based assay is supplied in a microplate format suitable for use with a standard plate reader. Soluble NCAM1 quantification supports research in neurodevelopment, neuroinflammation, oncology (including CD56-expressing tumors such as small-cell lung carcinoma), and immune cell biology.

Each kit contains reagents sufficient for one microplate. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles and stored refrigerated per the package insert; consult the enclosed booklet for the recommended storage temperature and complete materials list before beginning the protocol.
