Human N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase (NAG) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate measurement of human N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase (NAG), a lysosomal enzyme commonly used as a biomarker for renal dysfunction and kidney injury. The assay is reactive with human samples and is intended for research use only. Detection is carried out on a colorimetric basis, with absorbance read at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatates, and other biological fluids, with stated specificity for natural and recombinant human N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase. Reported performance includes a detection range of 1.56-100 U/L, a sensitivity of 0.78 U/L, an intra-assay CV of 4.3%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%.

Spike-and-recovery linearity for serum ranged from 105-113% at 1:2 dilution to 103-112% at 1:16, EDTA plasma from 101-111% to 94-104%, and heparin plasma from 98-109% to 105-113% across the same dilution series. Recovery averaged 96% for serum (range 90-102%) and 98% for plasma (range 92-104%).
