Human Myosin-7 (MYH7) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Myosin-7 (MYH7), the beta (or slow) heavy chain subunit of cardiac myosin that functions in muscle contraction. The kit is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human Myosin-7.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.7pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) for serum (96-117%), EDTA plasma (89-127%) and heparin plasma (92-118%). Recovery averages 91% (range 85-97%) for serum and 93% (range 87-99%) for plasma. The target is associated with signal transduction research and is localized to the cytoplasm, myofibrils and the thick filaments of the myofibrils.
