Human Myosin-1 (MYH1) ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Myosin-1 (MYH1). The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and it recognises natural and recombinant human Myosin-1.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision figures include an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Linearity has been characterised across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and recovery has been measured in serum and plasma matrices. Absorbance is read at 450 nm following incubation with TMB substrate and stop solution.

Myosin-1 (UniProt P12882; NCBI Gene ID 4619) functions in muscle contraction, where the hexameric myosin complex comprises two heavy chain subunits together with alkali and regulatory light chain subunits. The protein localises to the cytoplasm and to thick filaments of the myofibrils, with calculated and observed molecular weights of 223 kDa and 260 kDa respectively.
