Human MYH1/Myosin-1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human MYH1/Myosin-1 in human samples. MYH1 is a member of the myosin superfamily that plays a critical role in muscle contraction and movement, and dysregulation of its expression has been linked to muscle disorders and diseases. Colorimetric detection is performed using a TMB substrate and absorbance is read at 450 nm. The kit is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, and is targeted at the UniProt entry P12882 within the cell biology research area.

Dilution linearity for serum (n=5) is 88–103%, 86–101% and 85–103% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) gives 83–100%, 82–98% and 83–94%; and heparin plasma (n=5) gives 80–99%, 90–100% and 87–99%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 95% for serum (range 88–104%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 86–100%) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 89–100%).

The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months and is intended for research use.
