Human Myeloid differentiation primary response protein MyD88 (MYD88) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative measurement of human Myeloid differentiation primary response protein (MYD88) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric detection method. MYD88 is a cytosolic adapter protein central to the innate immune response, acting in Toll-like receptor and IL-1 receptor signaling pathways via IRAK1, IRAK2, IRF7 and TRAF6 to drive NF-kappa-B activation, cytokine secretion and the inflammatory response.

The assay reports a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.076 ng/mL. Reproducibility is given as an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5), with recovery averaging 100% (range 94–106%) in serum and 102% (range 96–108%) in plasma. Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant human MYD88.
