Human Myelin and lymphocyte protein (MAL) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA designed for the detection of human myelin and lymphocyte protein (MAL), also referred to by the synonym T-lymphocyte maturation-associated protein. The kit is reactive with human samples and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. MAL is described as a multi-pass integral membrane protein that may be an important component in vesicular trafficking cycling between the Golgi complex and the apical plasma membrane, and could be involved in myelin biogenesis and/or myelin function.

According to the manufacturer's datasheet, the assay has a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.297ng/mL. Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant human myelin and lymphocyte protein. The product is intended for research use only.
