Human MYC Associated Factor X (MAX) ELISA Kit

A basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper transcription factor central to the MYC/MAX/MAD network, MYC Associated Factor X (MAX) heterodimerizes with MYC and MAD family members to regulate E-box-driven transcription of genes controlling cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. This colorimetric ELISA from Assay Genie quantifies MAX protein in human tissue homogenates and supports research into oncogenic signaling, stem-cell biology, chromatin regulation, and tumor models in which MAX loss-of-function has been characterized, including pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma.
