Human MYB ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative detection of human Transcriptional activator Myb (MYB), also referred to as Proto-oncogene c-Myb. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, accepting serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Transcriptional activator Myb, and the kit is intended for research use only.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.089 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.1% and inter-assay CV is 7.8%. Spike-and-recovery values are given for serum (average 97%, range 91–103%) and plasma (average 99%, range 93–105%). Dilution linearity is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, with serum ranging 84–122% across conditions.

The target protein is a nuclear DNA-binding transcriptional activator that recognises the sequence 5'-YAAC[GT]G-3' and plays a role in the control of proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells. The kit is supplied with a dismountable 8×12 strip microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate and stop solution, with storage temperatures specified per component.
