Human Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor/MAChR ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody format for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor (M-AChR) concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The colorimetric immunoassay is intended for research use only and has been validated for a wide variety of human sample types, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell lysates, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, tissue homogenates, tissue lysates and breast milk.

Key performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625-40 ng/mL. Spiked-recovery in serum was 89-103% with an average of 96%, in EDTA plasma 87-100% (average 96%), and in UFH plasma 85-101% (average 94%). Linearity was demonstrated by serial dilutions at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 in each of these three matrices, with measured values reported as a percentage of expected. Precision is reported as intra-assay CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%.

Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample/standard dilution buffer, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25X wash buffer and plate sealers. The kit is stored at 4°C for six months, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm after the stop solution is added.
