Human Muellerian-inhibiting factor (AMH) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human Müllerian-inhibiting factor (AMH), also known as anti-Müllerian hormone, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. It is reactive with human samples and detects both natural and recombinant human Muellerian-inhibiting factor using a colorimetric ELISA detection method.

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.45ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 7.8% CV and inter-assay precision is 8.9% CV. Recovery in serum averages 106% (range 100-112%) and in plasma averages 108% (range 102-114%). For research use only.

AMH is a secreted, homodimeric, disulfide-linked glycoprotein produced by the Sertoli cells of the testis that drives regression of the Müllerian duct and can suppress the proliferation of tumors derived from Müllerian duct tissues. It plays a central role in sexual differentiation and ovarian follicle development, and aberrant AMH levels have been linked to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and premature ovarian failure (POF), supporting its value as a biomarker in reproductive biology research.
