Human Mucin-4 (MUC4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Mucin-4 (MUC4). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. The kit is intended for storage at 2–8°C with a 12-month shelf life. MUC4 is a glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion and signaling in epithelial tissues, and its dysregulation has been associated with cancer and inflammatory disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for disease research.

Spike-and-recovery performance in serum is reported at 86–105% (average 97%), with EDTA plasma recovery at 86–104% (average 96%) and heparin plasma recovery at 85–100% (average 96%). Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions spans 80–104% across the matrices tested. Intra-assay CV is <10% and inter-assay CV is <12%.
