Human Mucin-17 (MUC17) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA for the quantitative detection of human Mucin-17 (MUC17) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive against human samples and recognises both natural and recombinant human Mucin-17.

MUC17 is a membrane-bound mucin believed to contribute to homeostasis on mucosal surfaces, and its dysregulation has been associated with gastrointestinal disorders and certain cancers. The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.179ng/mL, together with intra-assay precision of 5.8% CV and inter-assay precision of 8.3% CV. Linearity was evaluated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum (86-117%), EDTA plasma (100-122%) and heparin plasma (89-119%). Recovery averaged 103% in serum (range 97-109%) and 105% in plasma (range 99-111%).

Detection is colourimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. Intended for research use only.
